COMPOST BASICS
Why compost?
A mixture of: GREENS: fruit, vegetables, lawn and garden trimmings, hay, manure from cows, goats, horses, rabbits, and sheep. BROWNS: dry leaves and grass, tea bags, woodchips, coffee grounds, straw. OTHER: dryer lint, newspaper, hair, cardboard, paper towels, eggshells. What not to put in your compost pile: Fish scraps, meat, fat, grease, oils, bones, large branches, dairy products, weeds, manure from cats, dogs, and humans. Compost care:
