RESIDENTIAL COLLECTION 

Trash collection in Meridian is fully automated.  

Meridian residents are required to use an SSC wheeled trash cart for trash disposal.  You have your choice of 35-gallon, 65-gallon, or 95-gallon cart service.  The cost of the service increases with the cart size.  You may rent more than one SSC wheeled cart.  Call SSC at 888-3999 to order your cart(s).

Curbside recycling is voluntary in Meridian.  Recycling carts are provided free of charge to Meridian residents.  Participating in the curbside recycling program can help lessen the amount of trash you throw out, thus lowering your trash bill in addition to helping the environment.

Your trash is collected weekly on a designated trash day.  All trash set out at the curb for disposal must fit inside the SSC wheeled cart with the lid closed.  If you do not know your trash day, please call SSC at 888-3999.
